Robert Canty Shiatsu and Asian Bodywork Therapies

 Bobby has been teaching and practising Eastern movement systems in the Boston area since 1975. His training is in classical Okinawan Goju Ryu, Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Yoga. He is a graduate of The Charles River School of Shiatsu and has continued his studies in Asian Bodywork at The Acupressure Therapy Institute. In 2007 Bobby was awarded the title "Diplomate in Asian Bodywork Therapy" by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. This is the highest achievable standard for Asian Bodyworkers in the US. Bobby is the co-founder of The Cambridge Center for Therapeutic Massage and Asian Bodywork Therapies and also serve as the Asian Bodywork specialist at Susan Liao Massage  in Central Sq. Cambridge. He is the director and leading teacher at both the Kids Karate and Senior Movement programs.  In April of 2008 Bobby developed and began directing the Shiatsu program at Children's Hospital in Boston.
